About 310 Running
310 Running is a not-for-profit athletics club operating out of Bolton, Ontario.
The principal goal of 310 Running is to create athletes for life by fostering a love of sports.
We focus on the whole athlete by teaching…
- Physical literacy
- Building overall fitness
- Enhancing self-esteem
…through athlete-specific programming, individual goal-setting and a positive, team-oriented environment.
We believe in the ‘community of coaches’….an environment where the development of the athlete is prime and coaches are willing to seek and offer support regardless of club ties. We share the responsibility for development with the athlete, the parents, school coaches and other club coaches as appropriate.
We prepare our athletes to perform at their highest level by providing competition level coaching in sprint, middle distance and cross country running, hurdles, steeplechase and high jump.
Our ambition is to ‘graduate’ our athletes to the varsity programs at the university or college of their choice. We help them establish realistic expectations related to the academic and athletic requirements of the various programs and connect them with the appropriate schools and coaches within Canada and the US.

DOC Raises $6,000 for Bethell Hospice
One of the unique features of the Don Olson Classic is that the charity that benefits from it, the Bethell Hospice, was selected by Don himself.
On November 25, 2013, Don’s wife, Linda Olson & 310 Running’s Head Coach Scott Skimming had the pleasure of presenting a cheque for $6,000 to Julie Hymers of Bethell Hospice.
310 Running’s annual race, held at Albion Hills in Palgrave, was renamed the Don Olson Classic this year in memory of long time friend & coach, Don Olson.
Special thanks to Husky Injection Molding Systems & Bolton Physiotherapy for their amazing support.
310 Supports Anti-Doping Campaign
310 Running athlete Rhys Rusby & coach Scott Skimming were selected to participate in a PSA with Ben Johnson promoting drug free sports.
Congratulations to sportswear company Skins for tackling this issue head on & to Ben for having the courage to step up, stand tall & advocate for change.
Watch the video & spread the word. There is no place for drugs in sport.
